MasterCut Tool Ditches Labels for Dual-Tier Inkjet Across 20,000+ SKUs
Shared with SuperPrinters · 8/22/2026 · Source: screenprintindia.com
Florida carbide tool maker MasterCut Tool has replaced pressure-sensitive labels and plate-based printing with a two-tier direct-to-object inkjet setup, covering more than 20,000 unique product SKUs. Multi-pass systems handle short and variable runs while a single-pass platform manages higher-volume repeat work, both drawing from the same digital artwork files. The arrangement eliminates SKU-specific print tooling and the label application step, making it simpler to introduce new products by updating a file rather than commissioning new plates or screens.
