Fespa 2026 Highlights Diverse Wide-Format Market, from Direct-to-Shape to AI-Driven Workflows
Shared with SuperPrinters · 7/9/2026 · Source: indianprinterpublisher.com
This year's Fespa show spanned six sector-specific exhibitions, reflecting how wide-format printing has diversified into textiles, corrugated, signage and industrial applications. Key trends included a wave of direct-to-shape cylindrical printers (from Roland DG, Inkcups, and Chinese vendors like AC Color), and continued dominance of 3.2m hybrid printers, with Canon's new Colorado XL entering the space alongside HP's Latex FS70W and Agfa's Jeti Bronco H3300 HS. Software and automation also took center stage, with Agfa's Asanti 8 workflow upgrades and Durst's AI-powered Kyveris system signaling a push toward more autonomous, robotics-integrated print production.
