Kolkata-based Pal Binding Works, a post-press solutions provider since 1968, installed a Bindwel Blue Chip single-clamp perfect binder to overcome operational bottlenecks caused by aging machinery. The new equipment increased production capacity to 550 books per hour with adjustable clamps handling spines from 3mm to 80mm, enabling the company to recover lost clients and successfully handle complex projects like the Bhutan Government Report Card with mixed paper weights and 1,500+ page directories.
