Komori Corporation, in collaboration with Yamagata University's Research Group for Flexible Technologies, has developed a printing-based high-resolution patterning technology for ITO transparent electrodes used in solar cells. Showcased at JPCA Show 2026, the innovation offers an alternative to costly conventional methods like laser scribing and photolithography. Built on Komori's printed electronics expertise and support from subsidiary Seria Corporation, the technology brings the company closer to an integrated printing process for manufacturing next-generation solar cells, including perovskite and organic photovoltaic cells.eva
