AI Enters Screen Printing Workflows—But Operators Stay in Charge
Shared with SuperPrinters · 8/31/2026 · Source: screenprintindia.com
Artificial intelligence is making inroads into screen printing through tools covering artwork preparation, colour formulation, machine vision and predictive maintenance, with 2026 seeing broader adoption across the industry. While these systems can reduce repetitive work and catch problems earlier, they rely on accurate data and proper integration to deliver real value. Critically, trained operators must still make final calls on separations, ink behaviour, press settings and quality approval—AI can suggest and flag, but it cannot take responsibility for the finished print.
