Seiko Epson Corporation has collaborated with YKK Corporation and designer Yuima Nakazato to develop zipper tapes made from non-woven fabric sheets created from recycled clothing and mill ends using Epson's proprietary dry fiber technology. The innovative material, which combines sustainability with durability, was featured in Nakazato's latest haute couture collection during Paris Fashion Week and showcases the potential for expanding regenerated fiber applications beyond textiles into fastening components.
