ORAFOL Rail Graphic Films Earn European Fire-Safety Classification
Shared with SuperPrinters · 8/27/2026 · Source: screenprintindia.com
ORAFOL has secured DIN EN 45545-2 fire-performance classification for a defined portfolio of wrapping, cut-graphic and printed-film products intended for interior and exterior railway applications in Europe. The certification gives specifiers tested constructions to reference when fire behaviour forms part of a rolling-stock project's technical approval process. However, the classification covers only selected products and specific film-laminate combinations, not the entire ORAFOL graphic-film range, and it does not substitute for broader project-level approvals. Customers are advised to obtain full test documentation directly from ORAFOL before committing to a specification.
