Printhead maker Xaar posted total revenues of £29.7 million in the first half of its 2026 financial year, up from £27.2 million in the same period last year, though the company still recorded an operating loss of £1.13 million partly due to a £1.8 million one-off tax liability. Bright spots included a 28.4% surge in 3D printing and advanced manufacturing revenues and strong performance from its Megnajet fluid management and Engineered Print Systems divisions. The company continues to pivot toward specialist industrial inkjet applications such as semiconductors, PCB coatings, and ceramics glazing, while its packaging and textiles segment slumped by nearly 54%.
