India's Paper and Paperboard Prices Hold Steady in 14th Monthly Update
Shared with SuperPrinters · 7/23/2026 · Source: indianprinterpublisher.com
Indian Printer & Publisher's latest survey of 70 paper, liner, and paperboard products shows no price changes since the previous update on June 23, 2026. Ongoing Middle-East tensions, rising energy and logistics costs, and an inverted GST structure (18% on paperboard vs 5% on cartons) continue to pressure the industry, while a government-imposed minimum import price on virgin multi-layer paperboard remains in effect. Distributors remain cautious about sharing pricing data amid fears of supply chain disruptions for imported papers.
