Hamburg's Siepmann Printing Adopts Hybrid Offset-Digital Setup with Heidelberg Equipment

Siepmann Printing, a Hamburg-based producer of package inserts and packaging, has installed a Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 106 offset press alongside a Versafire LV digital press, unified through the Prinect workflow. The Speedmaster XL 106, running since February 2026, delivers up to 18,000 sheets per hour with energy-efficient drying and advanced inline color and quality control, while the Versafire LV enables cost-effective short-run and customized jobs including large-format and specialty-color printing. This hybrid investment allows Siepmann to flexibly switch between offset and digital production for the same job while maintaining consistent color accuracy and reducing waste.
