Hamburg-based Siepmann Printing, known for package inserts and customized packaging, has invested in a hybrid production environment combining Heidelberg's new Speedmaster XL 106 offset press with the Versafire LV digital press, unified through the Prinect workflow. The Speedmaster XL 106 delivers up to 18,000 sheets per hour with reduced energy use and advanced quality control via Prinect Inpress Control 3 and Inline Inspection 4, while the Versafire LV adds flexibility for short runs, banner printing, and special color finishes. Company leaders say the integrated setup positions Siepmann to meet rising demands for flexibility, precision, and sustainable, cost-efficient production.
